Dearly Beloved,
We have gathered here to pay our greatest respects to two shows, who despite valiant effort, have been victims to the ABC show axe. Our beloved Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone were axed this week. This is all due to the fact both shows ratings plummeted this season. It is possible that due to the writer's strike that the high ratings of these two shows last season may have been artificial.
Pushing Daisies was born October 3 2007 and in its brief lifetime was nominated for 10 Emmy awards.
Eli stone was a mid season replacement in 2008 and its first season is currently out on DVD.
I know I will miss these shows a lot.
In lieu of flowers please send letters of disappointment to ABC!

Oh, boo! That sucks. At least we got two 13 episode seasons and an Emmy.
Maybe ABC will learn that adding George Michael to anything will be a disaster.
I don't know what I will do on Wednesday nights without watching Ned.
Yes, it is sad indeed. But Pushing Daisies lasted longer than Wonderfalls and as long as Dead Like Me (two shows from Fuller's history). And the end of Daisies may be the saving of Heroes as Fuller (an exec during season 1 of Heroes) is likely to return to the life-saving business. Whereas for my friend Berlanti is appears Brothers & Sisters is all he has left. I just wanna see Seal on Eli Stone before it gets pulled. Also on the plus side, we soon shall see the return of Scrubs and Lost!
