I knew it was too good to be true...

Something about Hulu always seemed too good to be true. All the network shows I want, free of charge on my computer, with only minimal commercials? It just never smelled right.

And now I know why.

They were just lulling us into a false sense of security before charging our asses for content! According to articles all over the internet, Jonathan Miller, the new chief digital officer* of the corporation that owns Hulu stated recently that he sees Hulu charging for content in the near future. Meaning you would need a subscription to view all your favorite shows.

So I would think twice before throwing out my television for good....

You lied to me Baldwin! Lied to meeeeeeeeee!

* Chief digital officer?? Seriously? LAME.

  1. Which means we were all in fact test market hamsters for a corporation ...again...?

My biggest gripe about Hulu/Fancast is that if I find a movie I actually want to see..ok...Nora Roberts " Angels Fall"...it was a bad day...the Bas Tards chop it off..it just freezes.

Plus..they 86'd " The Adventures of Brisco County , Jr."...a staple in the " Bruce Campbell Rules " fangirl rotation.

    GAH

  2. You know, I've never actually seen Brisco County, Jr. I remember when it came out (same time as the X-Files) but I was a little young to be a Bruce Campbell fan and so missed out. And now I love Bruce Campbell and it's out of Hulu rotation! Dammit!

  3. Also, I was wondering, is your blogger name a Belgariad reference? If not, disregard and carry on!

  4. 1. I remember Brisco County, Jr! Oh man, that was a great show. Bruce Campbell as a bounty hunter in the wild west who was smarter than the average cowboy ... as you can imagine, hilarity ensues.
    2. David Eddings = LOVE.
